Kevin Lancaster Art Fund

In 2011, Kevin came to a crossroad in his life and found unexpected joy in the opportunity to create art. Having always been a keen observer with an appreciation for solitude he taught himself to draw and paint. Many of his pieces reflect his passion for the city of Oakland.

In an effort to prevent artists from being held back by the exorbitant cost of art supplies the fund will make awards to deserving Oakland students and older folks so they, like Kevin, can find joy in art and make our community an even more beautiful city.
