Kevin Dean’s Road to Recovery

Spende geschützt
On Saturday, May 12th, my father was in a motorcycle accident leaving Las Vegas in Boulder City. The accident has left him in the hospital with various major injuries. While on his way to get a CT scan he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to surgery to get a stent put in. In addition to the heart attack, he suffers from a fractured C2 vertebra, broken wrists, burns from hitting the hot pavement, and a broken nose and bones underneath his left eye. At this point in time we are unsure what his prognosis will be. The doctors are concerned that his heart is not working to it’s full potential so they are putting anything neurological on the back burner. They have made us aware that he has most likely suffered from a stroke during his heart attack, but we don’t know the effects of that yet. He is stable as of now, but unresponsive and on a ventilator.

We anticipate a very long recovery time for along with home care after he is released. My family and I are both shocked and devistated by the accident. My brother and I are doing everything that we can to take care of his bills, house, and other expenses while he stays in the hospital. Due to the placement of the accident, he is being treated at Sunrise Medical in Las Vegas. My brother and I have both had to travel and take time off of work to be here for my dad so we realize that we will soon exhaust our own personal funds in order to cover his. We appreciate all of the love, support, and prayers from everyone around us. A simple share or donation will help immensely. Thank you all very much

xoxo
