Running For Josie
Donation protected
Hi All,
On October 28th I will be running the Dublin City Marathon in support of the Running for Josie campaign and suicide prevention charities; Pieta House and Living Links Tipperary.
Running for Josie is a campaign set up my good friend Seamus Hennessy who is attempting to raise €200,000 for the above charities through his Running for Josie campaign. Seamus himself will be running the Antartic Ice Marathon in December 2018 as part of the campaign.
Seamus lost his mother Josie to suicide when he was 11 years of age and is determined to raise awareness for suicide prevention and the support services available .
My fundraising target of €1,000 is the estimated cost to Pieta House of providing the necessary support to each person who comes through their doors. If successful in reaching my target that is hopefully one life saved, one family saved and one group of friends saved from the devastating loss experienced by Seamus.
I would encourage you to take time to read some more about this amazing campaign and please feel free to share:

All donations are very much appreciated and are a going to a truly worthy cause.
Cheers.
Kev
