Family need evacaution from Gaza

My name is Mokhtar and I am a Palestinian from Gaza.

I’m writing this to you in a time of great urgency and need. My family of seven members is currently in Gaza, facing unimaginable circumstances.

They have endured endless horrors. In October they were forced to flee their home in northern Gaza, the first area to be bombed and have been homeless on the run for three months now.

As you can see in the picture, this family home was partially destroyed and is not suitable for living in. Now this house, which was built 23 years ago, this house in which we used to feel safe and warm, in which memories and dreams have been destroyed.

They first moved to a family members' home in Rafah, only to have to flee again soon after. They are currently sheltering in a refugee camp near Rafah and will be forced to evacuate soon as there's no food, water, or medical supplies, while the camp is bombed every few days, with planes circling the sky constantly. My cousin, lina, contracted an epidemic disease that is spreading around and her condition is getting worse every day. The camp is a living nightmare, that they may not survive much longer. There is no safe place in Gaza anymore, if the bombs don't reach them then hunger and diseases will.

Before October, they were just starting to plan their lives.

Lina now needs medical attention as quickly as possible, otherwise she may not survive. The area where they reside is experiencing an epidemic without access to doctors or medicine. Leaving Gaza for Egypt is their only hope of escaping from Israel's ongoing genocide.

We have been trying to get them out of Gaza for a long time, but it is not easy. The Egyptian authorities are demanding an amount ranging between $7,000 and $9,000 for each person who does not hold a foreign passport and wants to cross the border. The funds raised will be used to help pay the border fees for our immediate family.

Any amount you can give will be a huge help and will go directly to saving them. I truly appreciate your kindness and support during this difficult time. If you can't contribute, I'm simply asking you to share their story in the hopes that it reaches enough people to save them.
