Kenwood Fire Station
Donation protected
We are collecting donations for the Kenwood Fire Department. (http://www.kenwoodfire.com/). The Kenwood FD has been a central hub of command for various fire departments fighting the Kenwood /Glen Ellen fire, and a sanctuary for all.
Once the money is collected, my mom will present the money to the station with a list of names and donation amounts.
I know there are many wonderful causes out there, and whether you can help with the Kenwood Fire Department, or you have already donated to another friend's house recover, or a non-profit, or are sending out positive vibes, it is all so greatly appreciated.
My mom shared this in regards to the firefighters: "They are heroes. They get out there and do what it takes hour after hour. Without grabbing the spot light.... Also everyday people [mostly firefighters and their families, and they few residents still around, since no one is being let into Kenwood] are dropping off all kinds of food, water etc. wanting to chip and help out where they can. You cannot believe how much food there is at the Fire house."

This fundraiser is run by myself (Holly Locke) and my parents (Barney and Cindy Locke), on behalf of the Kenwood Fire Department We are from Kenwood and they are our local fire department. At the end of the campaign, we will withdraw the money and deliver the donations to the Kenwood Fire Department in person. The Kenwood Fire Department will use it as they see fit, but we will keep everyone updated once they have time to talk.
