My name is Sherri Silva, known as Grammie, Mom and to some of you as Nurse Ratchet. On Tuesday evening 12/17/24 a tree struck my son’s house. A large Fir tree was uprooted above the house and slid down the hill falling through the living area to the floor, destroying a portion of their home. (Ken and his family are all safe, ultimately the most important thing).

Despite all the destruction, we are humbled and grateful for everything we have. For those who don’t know, Ken, Jay and Grant are expecting Averie Jean’s arrival to our family literally any day now.

The insurance process has been initiated, and we await the many battles that are ahead to restore the structure and contents of their home. As we begin the process of recovery and renewal, any assistance or support would be greatly appreciated to support this hardworking young, growing family.
