Friends and family,

Last Friday, our Dad, Kemp (affectionately known as Fish) was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after complaining of a severe headaches.  Later that evening, we were told that he had suffered a severe brain bleed and that, short of a miracle, he would not recover.  Sadly, he never regained consciousness and passed away early Wednesday morning with his family by his side. 

Our Dad was our hero and was the strongest man we will ever know.  He worked hard every single day of his life. He did it with a smile along with a dry sense of humor that was contagious to anyone who had the privilege of interacting with him.  Although he was a highly accomplished tradesman, he would not hesitate to tell you that his two greatest accomplishments in life were raising his five beautiful daughters as well as having the honor of spending each day with the love of his life, our Mom, Marlene.    

Fish was a remarkable father.  Raising us was hardly an easy feat.  He was always up to speed on the latest hair styles, on the newest nail polish colors, on how to sew a bra back together, and on how to build the biggest toy box known to man.   

Our Mom and Dad were inseparable.  Seldom did a day go by that they did not wake up together, work together, return home together, unwind together, and go to bed together.  Marlene was Fish's rock.  She was his soulmate, and he would gladly tell you that she was his better half.

In addition to losing the love of her life, our Mom also lost her livelihood when he passed away.  With this in mind, any donation to help her through this difficult time would be appreciated more than words can say.
