Keisha fights Glioblastoma Brain Cancer

Hi, my name is Courtney, and I am fundraising for my cousin Keisha who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. Keisha is a loving 41-year-old wife and mother of 3 from Auburn, New York, who was in the process of opening a beauty school when she learned she had a brain tumor. After removal, the worst-case scenario became her reality.

I have always looked up to Keisha as a hard-working mom that does whatever is necessary to support her family. Her passion lies as a hairstylist with over 20 years of experience. Still, as necessary, she has worked additional jobs, from getting up at 3 am to deliver newspapers, delivering for Instacart, and being a B.O.C.E.S. cosmetology teacher to help provide. As a young girl, I remember Keisha introducing me to makeup and curling my hair for the first time. Family means everything to Keisha, and she has always been there for those who need her. Now, in her time of need, as much as I feel helpless, I want to show her the same support.

Keisha's family needed to take a leave of absence from work to help drive her to chemotherapy and radiation. The donations will help with medical bills and costs associated with traveling two hours daily for treatment. The money will also greatly help supplement her family's income while they cannot work.

Keisha remains positive and hopeful that with treatment, prayers and support, she will manage this incredibly challenging diagnosis.
