This Ramadan, please help keep the doors of the Essalam Association rehab Center in Mehdia, and those of Wlidatna Center in Azrou, open. These two facilities combined provide much needed care to over Eighty (80) children with severe physical and mental disabilities
When I first began trying to learn Quran recitation a friend told me that every letter of the Quran was distinctly chosen to fulfill a purpose and to teach us about Allah ( SWT). One thing that has stood out to me, time and time again is that Allah (SWT) is the Most Merciful. By extension of being people who submit to Him, it only makes sense that we are people of mercy.
This past winter I was able to participate in a volunteer trip that took me all over Morocco. It was lead by Dr. Said Nafai and Prof. Mohamed Brahimi. These two exemplary human beings have dedicated their lives to bring rehabilitation and medical care to the most vulnerable children in Morocco. For nearly two years. they have self-funded these clinics entirely on their own However, due to the increasing costs of keeping these clinics open, one of these clinics in on the verge of shutting down. The other had to fold when funding dried up; but it was quickly reopened thanks for Brahimi and Nafai's intervention and the support of many of their students, friends, and relatives.
This Ramadan, I am asking you to help me, help them keep a clinic open for a year. A quick needs assessment video for one of the clinics can be viewed HERE . All funding for this project will go to keeping the doors open. My name is Emily Bentley and I am a former volunteer of theirs.
Remember brothers and sisters, these are children of Jannah. In closing, I leave you with this reminder
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”

Please give with your whole hearts, any and everything is needed and appreciated. For these children and their families, so much of life is a struggle. Let us now, reach out and help them carry it.
