Keeping us Together and Safe

My name is Rebecca and I need your help. Last year, I decided that 9 years of abuse was more than enough and left my husband and moved from Iowa to Washington. He was physically/emotionally abusive to myself and my two children and I needed to keep us safe. We are now in a drawn-out custody battle and the children’s father is fighting to gain full custody. The temporary rulings have so far been in his favor, despite having previous abuse convictions against him and recommendations from each of the counselors. My lawyer is now asking for more money before we go to trial in a little over a month. It is coming down to whoever has the most money will get the children.
