Keeping the love in Australia

Dear family, friends, strangers and who ever else may stumble upon this request,
Elijah, my partner or boyfriend for those of you in the US of A, is coming to the end of his Working holiday visa in Australia which has allowed him to work here for a year. I have a student visa that allows me to stay in Australia for 4 years total. I really don't want Elijah to have to leave our home we have made in Australia. Since I am committed to being in Australia for the rest of my PhD, 2- 3 more years, I cannot imagine living here without him for that long. This fundraiser is raising money to help us pay for Elijah's required overseas health insurance, the visa application fee, and the fee we pay to the immigration agency organizing our documents. We are applying for Elijah to be a dependent on my student visa which would allow him full working rights in Australia until 2022. Although we probably won't stay in Australia when I am finished with my program, this will at least give us the peace of mind that we can continue our relationship while I get my degree.
