Keeping our house-fixing foundation

As some of you may know- we have had some very bad damage to the structure of our house. One of the foundation walls has moved away from the house and has left a 4inch gap between the house proper and the wall that is supposed to support it. We attempted to file a claim with our insurance company - and were told "No luck".  To add insult to injury- they also gave us a timeline of February first to have either a signed contract to have it fixed or a completed project.  If we do not comply with this deadline- they pull our insurance. Our mortgage requires us to have insurance- and we are largely uninsurable due to this structural damage.  What started out as a slight crack has widened to become a problem that might actually cost us the home we have lived in for 11 years.   Due to an issue 4 years ago with my student loans (and a falsely reported balance) we do not have the means to get a loan large enough to cover. This gofundme is the bridge between what the bank can give us and keeping our home. Any money raised will go directly towards repairing the wall and proving we have met the terms as put forth in the letter from the insurance company.  I will admit we are flying blind - as the insurance company has stopped returning calls and emails and will not communicate with us in any way.  In the case that they have already written us off, we can only hope that fixing the house will allow us to change insurance companies with minimal stress and lapse in terms of the mortgage company.   Please consider donating to help us save this house.
