Keeping Families Close at Ronald McDonald House NY Metro
Beschermde donatie
The Ronald McDonald House is a charity near and dear to my heart. My family has been involved in supporting the cause since before I was even born. This year, I'd like to go the extra mile to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House New York Metro's Share-a-Night program. This program helps cover the cost of a family's stay at the New Hyde Park location.
The Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY Metro) Share a Night program raises money for families facing the financial burden of pediatric cancer.
Did you know:
- $2,500 provides for one family's 10-day stay
- $1,000 helps stock the Hospitality Cart for families on the go
- $750 fully stocks the Family Room food pantry for one week
- $500 provides a home-cooked meal for RMH families
- $250 provides for one family's night stay
For this season of giving, I am asking you all to donate so that we can provide financial ease to a family dealing with pediatric cancer and give them a place to stay while their child receives treatment.
RMHC New York Metro gives families with a child who is sick exactly what they need most – each other. For 38 years, RMHC New York Metro and their cornerstone program, Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park, have been creating communities of support to keep families together and near the medical care their ill or injured children need, when they need it most. Their care program operates in partnership with Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Stony Brook Children’s and includes two Family Rooms, a hospitality cart program, and a future House adjacent to Stony Brook Children’s, opening in 2026.
