Keep kids reading during Covid19
Donation protected
1 in 8 children from disadvantaged backgrounds say they do not own a book of their own (Literacy Trust). I am a primary school teacher in Oxford and I am hoping to raise funds to buy and send books to children who may be in danger of falling behind in their learning while schools are closed.
Many studies have proven that developing a love of reading can be one of the most effective ways to leverage social change (OECD, 2002: 3). By donating money to help us put high-quality children's literature into disadvantaged children's homes you can, quite literally, help to change children's futures.
