On Friday the 13th, tragedy struck the Kearney family in the most unimaginable way. A catastrophic house fire, caused by a shorted heater, claimed not only their cherished family home — a place that had sheltered three generations — but also the lives of their beloved fur family: 5 dogs and 1 cat who were more than just pets.

Felsie, her husband Juan, and their five children (three that are still school age) are now facing an overwhelming loss.
