Ed Kolakowski's Love Offering

Hi we are Ed's siblings, Rose, Joe and Barb,
Last week we were hit with devastating news, Ed was in the Hospital with Pneumonia, while there, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.  In the last few days with more extensive testing, we got even more devastating news.....they also found two small lesions on his brain.  Ed had already decided that he wasn't going to do chemotherapy, until he talked to the doctor and she told him that it was a rapid growing, and aggressive type of cancer and without it he would have only months, needless to say, he and his wife Mary Lou decided that his life was to precious to ALL of us to not try treatment, he has 3 children and 5 grandchildren, he served 4 years in the Navy as a Seabee and also did a tour in Vietnam.  The goal that we have set will help with medical bills (Ed has a very high copay) and traveling expenses to and from the hospital for treatments.  They are on a limited income, so if you feel led to give, they can use the help. He lives in northern Michigan so the distance that he travels for each treatment can be a hundred miles or more round trip.  We believe in the power of prayer, so even if you can't afford to donate Please, Please include Ed in your prayers.
