Today Kayla's torture ended.  Someone saw her starving to death, tied to the outside of a garage, and they put a stop to it.  Waukegan Police Animal Control were called, and Kayla was immediately removed from the premises and taken to the emergency hospital, because not only was she barely able to stand, she was struggling to breath.  Tonight she is in the ER, fighting with every single breath to stay alive long enough for us to help her get through a horrific case of pneumonia.  Both of her lungs are almost completely full.  Euthanasia was considered for a moment, but we cannot end her life without giving her a chance, one day, or maybe even one hour at a time, to know a kind hand and to make it through this nightmare to live the only life she has.  PLEASE share, and PLEASE help if you can.  Thank you!!!
