Optometric Service Trip

My name is Katherine Cioffi. I am a student at Pennsylvania's College of Optometry. SOSH, Students in Optometric Service to Humanity, is one of our student-run organizations, and this group attends a trip each year to an underdeveloped country and provides medical eye care to those who cannot afford it.  This past summer, SOSH members went to Haiti and examined almost 2,000 patients over four days. I have been passionate about service since high school and would absolutely love to go on this trip, and help improve the lives of the people living in these impoverished areas.
