Katie's Healing Fund

The night of Tuesday, June 22 we experienced a tragedy when a microburst happened at our campground on Sagehen Reservoir. The top of a tree broke off, landing on a car with our friends Maddie and Katie inside. Tragically, Maddie lost her life. Katie’s back was broken in several places.

Katie is now at home working on healing physically and emotionally. Her medical bills are quite substantial already with an ambulance ride and Lifeflight to start. She was taken to St Als Trauma Center and now has continued medical treatment, physical therapy, loss of wages, and emotional pain over the loss of her soul sister and best friend, Maddie.

All money contributed to this Go Fund Me will go straight to Katie for her medical and counseling bills as she heals and her living expenses due to her inability to work. Venmo or FB Pay will go directly to her, as well. Any help is greatly appreciated either monetarily, by sharing this post, or sending positive, healing energy her way.
