Kathy Kosik has cancer and needs your help!!!

I am raising funds for my friend and former co-worker, Kathy Kosik, aged 47.  Kathy is one of the most caring, loving nurses that I have ever met.  She has worked at a nursing home with sick patients for the last 25 years.  When Covid hit, she was the first staff member to get it and was out of work for over two weeks without pay.  Unemployment denied her and the pandemic assistance said that she had to go through unemployment first.  By this time, she was exhausted.  She then found out that she had invasive ductal carcinoma of the left breast.  She underwent a partial mastectomy and is currently receiving chemotherapy while she works as a nurse in a nursing home.

Kathy's hair has fallen out, her body hurts and and she is struggling to continue to work during her treatments.  She has used all of her sick and vacation days for the testing and diagnosis.  Her medical bills are mounting and she is afraid of losing her home as well as her 2 rescue dogs.  Jack who is 10 and Riley aged  7.

I am trying to raise money for Kathy to help her pay her medical bills, house payment, care of herself and her dogs.  She lives alone and does not have children.   Kathy has dedicated her life to helping others.  I am hoping to raise enough money so if she needs more time off as chemotherapy treatments wear her down, she can take a day off once in a while.   I am also hoping to raise enough to help with her medical costs and bills.  

Kathy means so much to so many of her residents and friends.  She is always there for everyone, no matter how she feels.  She works through the tears of painful treatments and exhaustion.  She is the strongest woman I know.
