Kathy's Cancer Fund

Many of you know that Kathy and I are best friends. We have been there for each other through good times and the worst of times, through sickness and health.  Kathy has struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis since we were in high school, but has persevered privately, and always with a bright smile on her face.

Kathy had an illustrious career in the pharmaceutical industry, but had to give that up due to her health. Kathy is now a marketing consultant working as an independent contractor - a great job, but with no benefits or disability leave.

 Kathy was recently diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and will have a complete hysterectomy on Friday, October 16. They will then decide what treatment will be necessary. The doctors are optimistic that this is treatable and curable, but it will be a long recovery process.  Kathy needs our help, but would never ask for it. I am asking you to first pray for complete healing, and then, if you can, to donate towards her medical bills and recovery.  Thanks- Phebe
