Family & Friends,
This coming July I will be traveling to Lusaka, Zambia with Family legacy missions to serve at Camp Life. In Lusaka, I will be given the opportunity to spend a week with Zambian orphans, loving on them and sharing with them the love of our Father. Our desire is to show each child just how much God loves them! For many of them, this is the best week of their entire year.
The goal of Camp Life is to bring healing and hope to the children of Zambia through sharing the truth of the gospel.
Family Legacy specifically work to address the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. Due to the scourge of HIV/AIDS and the extreme poverty that breeds hopelessness and despair, Zambia had become home to the largest percentage of orphans in any country in the world. Over one million orphaned children in a land of only 12 million.
Support through financial means for this life chaning opportunity is appreciated more than you know. Any amount of monetary support is appreciated and helpful.
More importantly, support through prayer is needed. Prayers for guidance, vulnerability and for the Lord to work through me to reach these children.
In addition, this is one of the first trips Jake and I will take together as husband and wife. We are feeling very blessed to experience this week together and cannot think of a better way to start off our marriage than spreading the new of the infinite love of Jesus!
