Kaston make up for lost adventures

Kaston was diagnosed in

July 2020 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia cancer.

He was diagnosed from a blood test as mum saw he had a rash.

He had 8 months of intense chemotherapy and then hit the maintenance stage of chemotherapy treatment.

Daily chemotherapy

4 weekly iv chemotherapy

12 weekly lumbar punctures.

4 weekly 5 days of steroids.

Weekend medication.

2 weekly blood tests.

He does all this with a smile on his face and the support of his incredible oncology team and school who all go above and beyond their call of duty.

They couldn’t do this without them.

Kaston still attends school, while trying to blend in.

He is such a character and we just want to give him all we can in life experiences etc

To show him life isn’t all about chemotherapy and hospitals.
