Karlee's "Giving Tree" Sandstone School

My name is Karlee. I am 7 years old and a 1st Grader. I really wanted to do something to help people who don't have warm coats & food. I came up with an idea to raise money by painting nails at my school's Christmas bazaar! I used all the money I raised ($1,500) painting nails and through this page to adopt families and students on the Sandstone Elementary Giving Tree. I ended up adopting 5 total families purchasing gifts for 13 kids ranging in age from 3-15, purchased single gifts for 5 other kids ranging in age from 2-16, purchased 8 coats and 9 pairs of snow pants, and purchased $200 in gift cards for families for a total of 94 gifts for some of my fellow Sandstone classmates. I am extremely grateful for the money that I was able to raise and help those in need. I am starting now to raise money for the 2014 Sandstone Elementary Giving Tree.
