Karla Meyer relief fund

Friends!

Our pal Karla was injured this last Saturday evening in a funky free-form dance maneuver at a Galexi dance photo shoot.

You heard that right, she went down hard, and broke her wrist and had to be rushed to the hospital. She has undergone surgery, and is now expected to come out in good shape on the other side...

That said, Karla has a high deductible insurance plan that will eat up a big chunk of change before her benefits will kick in. And speaking of eating...well, it is pretty hard to feed yourself when your hands are all F'd up! So we are going to do this GoFundMe for her to aid her during this dicey time.  Rather than starting a GoFundMe AND a MealTrain, we have opted to do just one fundraiser HERE.  This will allow Karla the flexibility to enjoy the items that she prefers and needs at this time. If you would prefer to donate homemade food items and she is OK with that (we are still in COVID craziness, so not sure), then please reach out to Karla directly. 
  Not sure what all she will need, so the dollar amount is somewhat arbitrary at this point...

I know Karla via Galexi and the dance community.
She is AMAZING, as we all know. She radiates some super positive mojo, and I have been SO happy to get to know
her over the years at dance events.  This tragedy happened early in the evening, and we can not wait to dance with Karla again one day! 

With all of this in mind, please consider donating to assist Karla during this difficult time. I am going to tag folks that can help me distribute this as needed. Some of our dance community does not do social media, so please pass along via email/texts/phone calls to those that would like to know.
