Kane County Bail Foundation
Donation protected
The People’s Coalition Bail Fund (TPCBF) pays bonds for people charged with crimes in the four counties of Aurora, IL (DuPage, Kendall, Kane, Will). The fund was started to support individuals who cannot afford their bond and are being held due to a situation of poverty or crimes of survival.
Those who cannot afford bonds are kept from their families, lose custody of children, experience higher conviction rates, longer sentences, and lose housing and jobs.
By paying the bond, TPC returns the presumption of innocence before trial and supports individuals to remain free while fighting their cases. As an organization, TPC advocates for Community Control of the police and other progressive Criminal justice reforms.
