This summer, Kelsey Coplen and Emma Vavricek will have the opportunity to travel to Tanzania with ISL (International Service Learning). Emma and Kelsey started off as complete strangers, thrown into the same junior nursing class at The University of Saint Mary... Quickly we realized we share the same passion for mission work and the dream to travel to African villages. Since then, it has been just about all we can talk about with each other!
We have gotten through the last (almost) two years of nursing school together, and just 35 days after graduating this summer, we plan on taking a life changing trip to Tanzania. Oh what an unimaginable way for us to begin our life long comittment to being nurses! Along with a team of local health care providers, ISL staff and other volunteers, we will spend 7 days making home visits and working in the local clinics of the Kibosho area of Tanzania.
Until we leave, we are dedicating everything to preparing for this this once in a lifetime opportunity. We humbly ask that you would please partner with us to help make our dream of serving in Africa come true!
