Parlier Police Department K9 Campaign
Tax deductible
Dear Community Members,
Our beloved Police K9 Indy was killed in a tragic accident in January of 2017, and since the tragedy, we have lost a vital resource to the Parlier Police Department and the community. We are launching our K9 CAMPAIGN to raise $80,000 so we can purchase another Police K9 and a vehicle for the new Police K9.
The Police K9 Unit enhances the operations of the Police Department in several fronts, such as building searches, tracking missing children and elderly adults, article searches to locate weapons and drugs to ensure public safety, and also to help protect our police officers when apprehending violent criminals. In addition, a Police K9 Unit helps the Parlier Police Department build bridges with our community, which would be another step closer in helping make the City of Parlier the “Safest Little City in the Central Valley.”
Therefore, we welcome any amount of donation towards the K9 CAMPAIGN to help us reach our goal of $80,000. This donation is tax deductible under the Department’s non-profit organization called Cops Building Bridges and in line with its mission.
Your donation in any amount is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or any member of the Parlier Police Department.
Respectfully,
Jose V. Garza, M.S.
Parlier Police Chief
