Cambodia Medical Mission

For those of you who know me, and know me well, you know that my lifelong dream has been to find a career where I can help others in a meaningful way. For me, this was Nursing. It has been a long, rocky road to fulfilling this dream, but now I’m nearing this new beginning.
Now that I am finally in my last quarter of nursing school, I have an opportunity to go on a medical mission to Cambodia to help those who don’t have access to health care. This team of doctors and nurses that have so eagerly invited us nursing students to join in on this mission with them will be seeing 250-500 patients per day! This is an amazing learning opportunity for me as well as an amazing experience in providing help to those in need. This is what I want to do with my life, this is why I’m here, and this adventure will come with memories I will carry with me throughout my nursing career and cherish for a lifetime.
As a Nursing student, the cost of this mission isn’t part of my budget, but I am determined to raise the money to go and start my career off on the right foot.
