Medical Humanitarian Trip to Nicaragua
For the past two years, I have been studying to become a nurse. This summer, I will be traveling to Nicaragua with some of my fellow classmates and an international humanitarian organization called Global Medical Training. GMT provides free medical and dental services to medically deprived communities in Central American countries. While in Nicaragua, I hope to provide exceptional care to the local people while utilizing the skills I have learned in nursing school. I also hope to expose myself to other ways of living, working, and providing healthcare in contrast to that of mainstream America. I am trying to raise money for this trip ($1250) and my airfare ($750). Any help is greatly appreciated, even the littlest bit makes a difference! Thank you all so much for your support!
