Hi, my name is Shyannon i’m starting this fundraiser for my sister Bemi. This money will be used for a Lawyer. Help my sister, a single mother raising four kids get the justice she deserves. Anything is much appreciated!!

On March 30, my sister was on her way to her sons lacrosse game when she was stopped by Officer Kyle Howe of Tama County. She was pulled over for a warrant (taken care of a month ago). He told her she was going to jail so she tried to call our parents he opens the door & pulls her out of the car. He then put her in cuffs & as she’s handcuffed, he claims she was resisting & ends up choking her & throws her on the ground & then puts a taser to her back. Keep in mind she’s less than 120lbs & had cuffs on the whole time. She had a fat lip, marks around her neck, bruises on her arms, & body aches. Her three youngest were in the backseat screaming & crying for their mom.

This isn’t the first bad incident this Officer has had but let’s hope it’s the last!!
