Justice for Khaleesi. We will honor your memory.

Hi everyone,

If you have clicked this link, you probably have heard the story of Khaleesi. She was a one-year-old puppy, who was tied to a tree with a chain, so tight around her neck it wore down her skin over a course of months, so much so that her windpipe was exposed. During the time that this poor baby was tied to a tree, she gave birth to seven puppies. Her owner, a man who runs an event planning business on the island has accepted no responsibility and has not been arrested.

A call came in to two local rescue foundations on the island, they were able to release Khaleesi from the tree. She spent a few days at the vet and seemed to be healing, but on Easter Sunday, she passed away, succumbing to her injuries and infection that were too severe. Her puppies remain with a foster and are doing better after being touch and go for sometime.

The laws in Aruba are not effective. There are Khaleesi's in the shadows, on the island, who are being tortured, neglected, starved to death, and are still waiting to be saved.

Luna Foundation Aruba are angels on earth, and every day they work tirelessly to save animals and create change in Aruba.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to raise funds to go directly to Luna foundation so that they can erect a statue in Khaleesi’s honor in Aruba, pay for the care of her puppies and family, and to support the sanctuary and all the work that they do day in and day out.
