On November 3, 2016 my dad, Ken Allen, was murdered in his home. Three suspects were apprehended and charged with first degree burglary and second degree murder. On August 29th, 2017 prosecutor Robert Parks announced to me that he was agreeing to a plea deal for two of the three defendants whereby he reduced Murder 2 to involuntary manslaughter. When someone is killed during the commission of a felony (burglary) that death is murder. I'm fighting to stop this miscarriage of justice and asking Judge Gael Wood to reject this plea deal.

I want to purchase a full page color ad in the Missourian newspaper which would include a photo of my dad and my victim impact statement, which I read to the court on September 19, 2017. Such an ad costs $1567.80.
