Jamie Kehoe was brutally murdered on a BC Transit bus one fall night in 2011. The police have so far refused to press any charges what-so-ever on the perpetrator despite having eye witness accounts of what happened. The murderer more or less walked away that night without so much as an assault charge despite the fact he stabbed a young man 4 times.
Jamie's family is seeking legal recourse in the matter in an attempt to force the hand of the RCMP in prosecuting the person responsible for his death.
The cost of lawyers and a private investigator is estimated to be in the neighborhood of at least 20 thousand dollars which is no small sum for Jamie's family.
Any and all money above and beyond the goal will be donated directly to The Surrey Foodbank.
If we don't raise enough money to proceed with legal action then any and all money raised will go directly to the Surrey Foodbank.
