Junior lost everything... Let's help him rebuild!

THIS IS AN URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL PARCS CLUBMEMBERS!

Most of you hear him being called "Junior" at the field, although his full name is Zolio Pacheco. Junior is one of PARCS longest standing members who we all know and love. Famous for his ability to seek out and find lost aircraft in the dense jungle of Floyd Bennett Field, Junior is also an accomplished RC pilot and celebrated master builder. Always helpful, allways smiling, Junior is almost impossible not to like as a human being.

A few days ago, Junior had a devastating fire in his shop where he builds and stores a lifetime's collection of model aiplanes.

He lost EVERYTHING...

Every model airplane and all of the tools used to create them were destroyed.

I spoke with Junior shortly after the fire, and was amazed at his upbeat attiude after losing everything. I thought about some of the giant scale warbirds over the years that He brought to the field....

Imagine losing all of your model airplanes, equipment and tools you've acquired since starting this hobby as a kid.

Right at the beginning of flying season....

Recently retired and ready to have some serious fun.

It's got to really, really suck.

I am reaching out to all of you to join together as a club to help Junior out. If we ALL pitch in and donate something...anything....we can help a fellow club member get back on His feet and back into this wonderful hobby. We can do this together!
