Hi Folks we are hosting Jump for Josh to raise money for the Starburst Sensory Project, a charity set up by Rathore School in Newry that hopes to raise funds to build a sensory room for their wonderful children.

We hope to involve as many brave people as possible to put on their wetsuits and most festive Christmas jumper and at 11:15am on December 15th run, jump, paddle and swim into the freezing cold water of Carlingford Lough.

The event will take place at Carlingford Sailing Club, and we are delighted to have special guests Rob & Dave Kearney there to strengthen our resolve.  Hot drinks and treats provided for everyone taking part. We want to invite everyone to come down to support us, we will have plenty of Christmas music to get you in the mood and we will also be hosting a raffle with fantastic prizes.

Rathore is a school that caters for children between the ages of 3-19 with learning difficulties, it is the school that our beautiful boy Josh went to. For Josh it was a place that was full of learning, fun, love and lots and lots of laughter. He was so happy too go there every day and as parents that meant the world to us. We want to take this opportunity to raise as much as we can towards creating this sensory room as a way of thanking all the staff and pupils for making Josh’s time at this amazing school such a special time. ❤❤
