Julie's African Adventure for Good

Friends, some of you may have seen my posts, but I have been working with a non-profit organization called The Small Things  (TST) since last fall helping them with their marketing and fundraising. The organization is based in Africa, in Tanzania, and they do incredible life-changing work for the people and children in the community they serve.

AND THEY HAVE INVITED ME TO VISIT!



I mean can I really say "no" to that adorableness?!??

And I really want to go. Sadly, consulting work is slow right now, so I am putting my pride aside and asking my friends and family if you would contribute to Julie's African Adventure for Good!

I am looking travel in May/June 2021 and plan on staying 3-4 weeks. TST will cover my food and lodging while I am in Africa, however, the plane ticket to get there is approximately $1,200-$1,500. 

If you can give anything, I would be so appreciative and I promise that I will post ALL the videos and photos Facebook can take while I am there!

PS, A little about TST. . . The Small Things works to improve the lives of children and families in Tanzania through education, outreach and empowerment. Their team assists parents with vocational training and microloans to start small businesses. They provide education, day care, and residential care (when needed) for children. If families need to be parted for a period of time, they diligently work with the parents to overcome issues and return children home as soon as possible. 

In working with them, I have been incredibly impressed by the team's dedication, compassion and resourcefulness in making the most impact possible in the community they serve. I am incredibly excited to have an opportunity to work with them and to visit in person to see their work first-hand!
