Help Julie Borden with mounting hospital costs!
Spende geschützt
Hello, my name is Saunde O'Kelley and I am hoping to tug at your heart strings on behalf of my dear friend, Julie Borden. She is beloved by many of our former COK family, as well as other church family and friends over many years.
Julie is a widow, disabled and living on social security. Her son, Mark was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident on Labor Day, and has been fighting for his life over these past few weeks. He lost his right arm and shoulder, has a broken neck, is on dialysis, with pneumonia and required incubation, as he wasn't able to breathe on his own. He will also be undergoing extensive skin grafts from cadaver skin on his backside soon. He has already undergone eight or nine major surgeries (we've lost count at this point), and many other serious procedures. He is literally fighting to breathe, but continues to live! He spoke a little last week, so the family was ecstatic and blessed, as you can imagine.
Two weeks into Mark's hospital stay his bill had already reached One Million Dollars, and he will not be leaving the hospital for quite a while, with many other procedures to come. Financial help is desperately needed, and would be tremendously appreciated. We would ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation towards the overwhelming medical bills. If you are unable to help monetarily, we would still covet your prayers.
On behalf of Julie, Ashley, Josh and the O'Kelley family, we send our love, blessings and abundant gratefulness for your support during this wearisome time. Only God knows the plans that He has for Mark, and we believe and have faith that he will live and not die, and are praying for healing, wholeness and restoration.
“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
