Julia's House and Health

This page is dedicated to helping Julia Perez, who suffered a series of strokes recently, after dealing with other long-term health issues. Julia has survived cancer twice and is a hard working single mom, who moved from California to Boulder in 1972 to start the first sprout company in the state. She worked in numerous administrative roles at CU for over 25 years, including office manger at the planetarium, office manager for the psychiatry department and graduate advisor of the economics department. She’s an all around bad-ass and the sweetest lady ever. She’s tough as nails but needs all the support she can get as we move through this difficult time.

Julia has been released from the hospital but requires constant supportive care and is not able to return to her home, a trailer in North Boulder. The trailer, Julia's home for 30 years, is currently overrun with mice and in need of significant repair. The funds raised here will first go to making her home habitable, and then to any outstanding medical costs.
