Judi Smith - Storm Damaged Home

Have you ever spoken to a friend who is trying to be brave in a very bad circumstance? I was speaking to my life-long friend Judi yesterday and I could tell her level of stress was 20 on a scale from 1 to 10; despair is trying to creep into her life. Please pray for her.
Her back story:
Her home was severely damaged in the Severe Winter Storm in Texas. Her pipes froze and broke and filled her home with water. We did a fund raiser for her starting February 26, 2021 and so many friends and strangers contributed for her to meet her deductible for her home-owners insurance and for interim living expenses. Thank you to all who were kind enough to reach into their own pockets to help her out.
We raised $3,330 of her $3,500 goal.

The insurance company has reviewed her case and told her that her policy has a clause that does not cover water or steam damage. Storm URI froze her pipes and as a result; water damaged both her bathroom and kitchen. Everything that was destroyed has been removed from her home; carpets, cabinets, personal items water-damaged and mold infested.
Judi is renting a RV from her dear friend Terri. Terri brought the RV to Judi’s property, so she had something to live in while her house is being repaired.
Her bathroom and kitchen need to be reconstructed (materials and labor), she needs to pay rent on the RV and her normal living expenses for the house. Her only income is Social Security Disability. I’m restarting the GoFundMe by increasing the goal to $25,000. I’m hoping that she will quickly have enough money to purchase materials, pay the contractor, pay current living expenses, and maybe replace a few personal items damaged.

This fundraiser will help Judi meet her insurance deductible and provide living expenses while her home is being repaired. She needs to meet her deductible within two weeks.
