Jude needs a DocBand

Our 6 month old, Jude, needs a cranial helmet.  His pediatrician has stated it is a medical necessity and we've had 2 appointments with Cranial Technologies to gauge the severity and he's in the moderate to severe category. Unfortunately my insurance does not cover any expense toward this as they consider it cosmetic and we exhausted our savings on household bills during my 12 week maternity leave. We, Jude's parents, feel this is a necessity for Jude and his health (mental and physical) in the long run. Possible bullying and negative personal body image are things we would like to avoid in the chance that without the helmet his head remains flat in the back and peaked at the top back. Any little bit helps and we would be extremely grateful and appreciative.
