Juan and Rachel Duarte’s family medical help

We are raising money for Juan and Rachel Duarte, the medical bills along with funds to allow them a clear mind while juan recovers during the holidays.

Juan Duarte is a shining example of a great father and wonderful husband. Juan has a beautiful wife Rachel and two gorgeous daughters Emi & Sophia. Juan works exhaustingly to provide for this wonderful family but the harder and longer that he works the less time he has for rest and healing.

On November 13th Juan developed a high fever that lasted the whole weekend. On Monday he went to the walk in clinic to be tested for Covid and tested positive. He went back to the walk in clinic when his breathing was getting very heavy and hard for him to breath so after some tests they discovered he has pneumonia. The pneumonia worsened for the next few days until the 19th of November when he was having such a difficult time breathing that he was taken to the hospital. The hospital doctors said his pneumonia did look really bad and his oxygen level was holding at 90 but is oxygen levels were not below 90 yet so they would not admit him or help him in any other way and sent him home. After Juan suffered through this on Sunday the 21st he had no choice but to rush to the hospital once more. Thankfully so, his oxygen was down to 84 and he couldn’t breathe. The hospital admitted him and started procedures in attempt to raise Juan’s oxygen levels. Juan is also on antibiotics for his pneumonia.

The week of thanksgiving Juan is steadily increasing on recovery. Though very slowly. It is thanksgiving day now and Juan will be spending it in the hospital unfortunately Rachel and the girls can not go see him because he has covid and is in the hospital. Rachel Emi and Sophia also have all tested positive for covid. Rachel is at home alone with the girls unable to spend thanksgiving with her family or her husband this year.
