The Kyle Jean-Baptiste Scholarship

On August 29, 2015, we lost one of God's most precious gifts, Kyle Jean-Baptiste.  A generous outpouring of support from classmates, friends and fans has helped establish The Kyle Jean-Baptiste Music Theatre Scholarship at Baldwin Wallace University.

This scholarship will serve underrepresented students as they pursue professional training in music theatre, helping future young artists pursue their dreams.  Kyle will be remembered as the youngest and first African American to portray Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on Broadway.

Perhaps more importantly, Kyle will be remembered for his caring, generous spirit and his passion for others.
