UPDATE (December 3rd) - My mom was told last week (November 26th) that Steven (my dad) might only have weeks to live. So he most likely won't make it to his birthday at the end of January 2026. He has lost a bit of weight while in the hospital. He had tubes in his head to remove blood on his brain, those tubes are now gone. Which is good. He has gone deaf & can't speak. The meningitis he has is awful. Whenever he opens both of his eyes (he usually can only open the right eye) it just seems he is staring around. I don't think he recognizes us. He has problems with the left side of his body. He was moved out of ICU on November 22nd & was moved to Unit 112 neurology department.
UPDATE (Nov 6th) - We have raised almost $2000 from Safeway employees who work with my mother. They were kind enough to donate to us. I would like to thank those people. My mom works with some very kind people who would do this for us. But we would still like to accept any donations you would like to donate to us.
Hello, my name is Devin Clark, I appreciate you taking a few moments to read this. Me & my mother have been working hard to earn money to pay bills. But we don't make enough due to my dad (Steven Clark) not being able to work at this time, as my dad hasn't worked since September 28th.
Steven was first just feeling sick, then he complained about a hearing problem. But one evening when I went to get a drink from the fridge for my nightly medication. I found my dad laying on the floor in the hallway of the apartment building me & my parents live in. For multiple days before hand he said he didn't want to go to a hospital. But this time he really had to. Since late on October 5th, he has been in the hospital in the ICU. my dad was diagnosed with ammonia, meningitis & a blood clot on his brain. He also has breathing problems, where he has to be on a breathing tube.
Me & my mom really need some money to pay bills that come every month. Any money donated will go to paying bills, like monthly rent, electricty, phone bills & groceries as well as any hospital bills. Any amount is totally & greatfully apprciated.
Sharing with friends & family would also be fully appreciated.
