JT Kuhn: All Things Are Possible Scholarship Fund

Entering into the month of February, we are anticipating Jonathan's would-be 18th birthday on February 14, 2021. To honor his memory, the Kuhn family created the JT Kuhn: All Things Are Possible Memorial Scholarship Fund to support basketball players planning to continue their education following high school.
Jonathan Thomas Kuhn, more commonly remembered as "JT," was a 16 year old basketball player at Big Spring High School. Measuring 6'5" during his sophomore year, JT dedicated his time and energy to growing not only as a player but also as a teammate, role-model, and friend. He passed away unexpectedly from an undiagnosed heart condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy on March 4, 2019.
On January 29, 2021 we were lucky enough to be a part of what would have been JT's senior night for basketball, alongside his other Class of 2021 teammates and friends. For a beautifully created and comprehensive tribute to JT, see Logan Reever's story on ABC 27 News here or on Facebook here.
JT was a never ending teammate, encourager, and friend. Prior to games, you could find JT alongside his teammates at Sheetz, ordering a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato. Off the court, JT enjoyed playing video games, watching Vine reels, cheering on the Jets with his Dad, and snacking on Oreos and Watermelon Sour Patch Kids. He was also an influential visitor to his Mom's classroom at Newville Elementary, where he strived to spread inclusivity and kindness.
