It was my Mom's wishes that if there were donations to be made, that they be made to help with my medical expenses.  As most of you know I've been battling for years to get some medical surgeries done, and although some of the bills may be paid for by AHC, there are a lot of other expenses that occur.  For example,  it could help me get an MRI sooner than the 18 month waiting list that I am currently up against.  Also, the particular surgery that I require can only be done in either Vancouver or Minneapolis.  While the actual medical bill itself will be covered under Healthcare unfortunately many other costly expenses associated with it are not, such as flights, meals, accommodations and etc.  This is an issue that has been haunting me and my family, as most of you know, for many years now.   Since CBC News aired my interview and story I have renewed hopes that I may receive the attention of the appropriate healthcare professionals that I so desperately require.  I will keep everyone updated on all the info that I receive.   This is very important to me but it was extremely important to my Mom, it was hard for her to watch me turn into a hermit and become so isolated as I just can't do much anymore.  Your donations could possibly speed up my process in the medical cue as well as help with the other related expenses with traveling to Vancouver or thenUS for a consultation.  Like my Mom said "she wants me to get back my sense of humour and my love of life."  Thank you for all your support whether you donate or not.  I know you are all thinking of me in your thoughts and the comments posted on Facebook are awesome!  Thank-you Cath
