In remembrance and dedicatory of Josh Riley. On Saturday the 2nd September, I aim to lap Pendle Hill 5 times in his memory, raising funds for the local Burnley charity ‘Casual Minds Matter’. Whilst also raising awareness surrounding Mens Mental Health. Everyone is welcome to join! Start time is at 12:00 dinner time, at the Barley Mow pub where we will make our ascent. Today Albus and I went to visit the Casual Minds Matter CIC team at their head office on St. James Row, Burnley Centre

And what a cracking set up they have there, I was taken back by just how much they’ve achieved in such a small amount of time. Every credit to the team, they’re doing such a fantastic job! It was a pleasure meeting them.

Casual Minds Matter CIC was started by a group of friends in Burnley. From a small idea, Casual Minds Matter soon grew in popularity and has been a safe place for men and now women ever since! They provide counselling and psychotherapy in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale. As an unfunded charity from the Government at the moment, any amount of donation would kindly help them push further to provide our community with further assistance and support.

I can’t stress enough how important it is for those struggling to reach out to an organisation such as ‘CMM’. Their friendly staff are there to help you, listen and talk.
