Josh Pugh Celebration Day for Rockspur
Hi everyone. We are Malc and Sue Pugh and we have set this fundraising page up in memory and celebration of our son Josh (pictured) and to raise money for the day opportunity he attended.
Rockspur are a Not For Profit Community Interest Company for Adults with care and support needs based in Codsall, Staffordshire.
Josh started at the Rockspur day opportunity in Codsall on 18.01.2023.
Josh immediately lit the room up with his warm smile and humour. A massively popular Member, Josh attended Rockspur 5 days a week for 2 years until his sudden and unexpected passing on 17.01.2025. Josh had a diagnosis of Ataxia.
We are utterly heartbroken and not ready to say goodbye to our son. Not yet.
On Sunday 22nd June 2025 from 12 noon, we will be holding a celebration of Josh's life at Brewood Cricket Club, Four Ashes Road, Brewood, Staffordshire.
But before then, we would like to fundraise for Rockspur through this page up to and including the celebration afternoon as a thank you for everything they did for our son and to support the work they do everyday with their many Members.
The staff team went above and beyond, supporting Josh through their day opportunity sessions, getting Josh out and about in the community, finding friendships within the peer group and having a load of fun as he gradually degeriorated health wise.

We invite everyone to attend Josh's Celebration Day on the 22nd June at Brewood Cricket Club starting at 12 noon. Please bring your street or village, family, kids, grandkids - please come and help us celebrate everything our son was.
Wear a Wolves shirt or a rock t shirt if you have one. These were two passions of Josh's. Join us at the bar for a Guiness or two - a favourite tipple of our son.
