Jordan and Asa Wildfire Victims

Jordan and Asa, are a beautiful young couple, and close family friends of mine, whose home was in the Santa Cruz Mountains. They had a wonderful life of hiking the local trails, taking their dog, Lopi, for walks in the nearby woods, discovering hidden gems in the woods, and absolutely loving mountain living.
The two had recently returned from travel abroad, with many special pieces collected, from the countries they had visited, that are irreplaceable.
In the wee hours of the night, of Oct. 16th, they were told to evacuate their home, due to neighboring wildfires, that posed a threat to their home. So, they evacuated with Lopi as soon as they heard the news, leaving everything behind.
They awoke this morning to hear the news that their home and everything they owned had burned to the ground in the Santa Cruz Mou tains wildfires last night. They aren't contained to date, and pose more threats and possible evacuations.

They are left with, literally the clothes on their backs, and thankfully each other.
