Jonny's Helping Hurricane Laura Survivors
Donation protected
Hey! I'm Jonathan Perrone but most call me Jonny! I'm from CT originally, but living in FL since 2017. I have a passion to reach others in their time of greatest need and currently, that means the victims of Hurricane Laura.
I'm volunteering with Florida Disaster Relief to assist the states affected, but I need your help.
While at the hurricane site, I'll be cleaning up destroyed properties, helping families in need of food and shelter, and giving emergency care.
I could be gone for 2-4 weeks. This money would cover food, toiletries, and the house hold bills while I am away. Every penny donated will go SOLELY to these things. Together, you and I can help make a difference in lives.
In the past 10 years, I have volunteered in numerous at risk places both in and out of the US. Here are some highlights:
In 2010, I went to Haiti immediately after the earthquake. There, I helped with medical needs, giving food, and building shelters. I was part of the first responders, so I saw many victims, including those stuck under buildings.
In 2013, I went to Quito, Ecuador. There, I helped give medical supplies that are hard for them to obtain. I gave a message of hope to teens and young men in rehab facilities, encouraging them to choose a better path than I had at their age. We visited children in their schools and gave food.
This year, I volunteered to help clean up DeLand after 2 tornados tore through it. We cleaned up properties and tarped roofs as well as connect people with services that could help them get back on their feet.
With your donation, you're not just sending me to help, we're partnering together to be hope to other human lives. Together we can be the hands and feet of love to people who are in desperate need. Please consider donating any amount today and prayers are more than appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.
